In the Pearl of the Gulf, and the heart of Doha, a living community of students foster in a friendly environment, called Global Academy International, a great educational community. Global Academy International is an International school which implements an American Curriculum where the language of instruction is English. It is developed around the principle of integrating the four language skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking) and content in the English as a foreign language classroom.
All the classes (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Psychology, Economic, and Computer Sciences) are conducted in the English language starting from Preschool to High School. Students are prepared for SAT I & SAT II under the supervision of a professional teaching staff. The school also has KG sections including, KG1, KG2 and Pre-school.
GAI also adopts the Qatari Curriculum in Arabic and Islamic Studies.
Our curriculum is set to meet the standards required primarily by English language colleges and universities.

As for technology aids, it manifests itself in the usage of LCD projectors, TV screens, and DVDs in various classes. The inevitable technology era leads instructors to integrate technology and its associate “internet” with their lessons. Fixed routers, a broadband, and a portable router are in place to offer restricted and safe internet access to any concerned side. IT department is always present for support, guide, and maintenance at any time. The presence of 2 computer labs each with a number of 25 PCS allows students each to have his/her own computer device during lab sessions.
Being a basic element in producing quality learning, the library at GAI becomes one of the major targets in the school’s improvement plan. However, the librarian along with the teachers play a major role in encouraging students to benefit from the lending system running and the use of the available resources and references.
As to the yard space at school, the 3 play grounds serve to fit the students’ number. However, the school accounts different age level needs, thus different break times affirm the grouping of same age categories and asserts pupils’ safety at the same time.
GAI’s website (www.gaiqatar.com) provides an overview of the school’s history, policy, location and procedures. This website is frequently updated to include all the latest occurrences at campus. Moreover; the newsletter issued gives the chance to various stakeholders to keep track of all on goings in the school premises. Furthermore, the school’s Call Center Agents, who are available within the duty hours to answer all inquiries, is another way to present service in GAI. The school is also aware of the students’ needs to the net especially when admitting to universities, thus, the school has a student counselor to guide students who wish to apply for universities online. This internet access is restricted to this counselor, but it is also available for staff whenever requested. Social workers and a counselor are there to guide students, whereas an academic controller is in place to propose any career planning and to give workshops that strengthen professional development for staff in school district. Finally, administrative help desks ensure that students and staffs’ services are fully fulfilled.
